I tried this place once with my friend and I am hooked ever since. I loved the fantastic vibes and delicious dishes and beverages. Keep up the good work.

A great hidden gem on Staten Island

We haven't been to Basilio Inn for a long time! My wife & I just had a wonderful dinner! True Italian food ! Pasta & deserts made in house ! Rustic old atmosphere, Open nearly 100 years ! Owner very attentive & friendly he oversees every dish ! We will be back !

Great food, great staff

Real good, authentic, Italian food. Everything fresh from the vegetables, pasta, seafood and deserts. Friendly staff. Efficient service. Highly recommended when looking for food that is as close to homemade as you can get in a restaurant.

Excellent Italian Food, beautifully prepared in a class is environment. Staten Island's oldest continuously run restaurant. The owner, Mauricio, and his staff are all charming and cordial.

Great food great service. Don’t come so we can get a reservation without a problem.

My brother and his fiance decided to get married before he headed back to the army. So we decided on basilio for a little celebration dinner. I called at about 6 for a reservation for 12 at 8. They were super accommodating. Everything was absolutely delicious! Definitely a little SI secret gem!!

4.5 out of 5 stars. Excellent food, friendly and helpful staff. Just a little slow getting the food to the table. Maybe 80% capacity on a Monday evening. I would go again.

Oldest Italian restaurant on Staten Island since 1921 and the best food around. Reasonable prices, excellent service and food par excellence! Can't fail here! They even have a bocce court!

Never disappoints. Hidden gem of Staten Island. Service could be better, but food is great, especially home made pasta.

Never crowded. Food is delicious. Last night they had butternut squash cheesecake. It was so yummy. I've never had a bad meal. My daughter in law, whose parents were born in Italy, says it is some of the best Italian food she's ever had. Try it! You will not be disappointed.

Do not let the exterior of this place fool you! It looks run down on the outside, but the interior inside is updated, spacious, and very clean. This is an excellent farm to table Italian restaurant. The owner here is buying the best of the best farm ingredients for all his dishes.For appetizer I had the mozzarella en carozza, and it could not have been made any better! The pastas here are house made, and I chose the spaghetti Alla chittara with fresh tomatoes and smoked mozzarella. It was excellent! The flavors to the dish were impressive. For dessert I had the Millefoglie it was very good made light and flaky. All desserts are house made as well. Prices were very reasonable and the restaurant was very busy. The service was excellent and my waitress was helpful with deciding what to choose. I highly recommend this gem in Staten Island!

So special. It was our first time. We sat outside. It was delicious to a level I've never had in an informal setting. Truly a gem.

An intimate restaurant with great service and excellent food.This carriage house was built in the 1850's. Very quaint.We've been to Basilio's many times and have never been disappointed. We highly recommend to order any dish! You'll love them all.Excellent wine list too!

Grew up Italian with both grandparents from the other side and didn't like the food (had the Bolognese). Atmosphere is nice but the food and service is mediocre at best, and I'm bieng kind. I would have been better off with a can of chef boy-r-dee.We also had the duck, meat was okay, the sauce or glaze didn't taste good.

There is a waitress named Nelly who treated us just like family! Personable, hospitable, knowledgeable and friendly! One of the best experiences I've had in a restaurant and particularly on my wedding anniversary! The food was exceptional..........

The food was good however I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it was so busy and they didnt have enough staff so it took a while for us to receive things we requested , they should definitely be prepared for a Saturday night a little better

Amazing homemade pasta. Fresh ingredients. Updating my review as of March 30th, 2019. My initial comment stays. No one coming close to the pasta at Basilio. Can't wait to go back.

Great Food . The mussels are so good and your get alot . I had the Duck breast with mashed sweet potatoes. I finish with Chocolate mousse.

Girls lunch with my mother in law. We were aiming for Blu and found it was closed. Quick check on the internet and off to Basilio ‘s. Totally lucked out! Ambiance of Tuscany made our lunch so memorable and the food was over the moon. We had an amazing lunch and moved Basilio’s to the top of our best places for girls lunch list!!!Cathy and Eileen Rispoli

Phenomenal cooking and a very pleasant, friendly atmosphere. A Staten Island staple.

The best pasta in Staten Island. I’m a very big pasta eater so I take my pasta very seriously. The owner, Maurizio, is the best! He is so so welcoming. Will make sure that everything is perfect for you and your party. Every other restaurant I go to, I always compare their pasta to the one at Basilio Inn & it usually doesn’t come close. Every time I go there, I get the bolognese & tiramisu for dessert. The service there is impeccable as well! Everything comes so fast. All the pasta is homemade & so authentic! You’ll feel like you’re in Italy...

Excellent food, gracious owner. Old world feel and ambiance. Home baked sfogliatelle for dessert, out of this world.
